Driving Directions to Eltville
From Frankfurt
Take route 648 from the center of Frankfurt to route 66 towards Wiesbaden. This becomes route 42. Take the exit toward Eltville a. Rhein.-Nord/Eltville a. Rhein.-Martinsthal. This route takes 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.

From the North (The Netherlands/Cologne)
Take route 3 towards Aschaffenburg/Würzburg to route 66 towards Wiesbaden. This becomes route 42. Take the exit toward Eltville a. Rhein.-Nord/Eltville a. Rhein.-Martinsthal. Cologne to Eltville takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes depending on traffic.

From Frankfurt International Airport 
Take route 3 towards Cologne to route 66 towards Wiesbaden. This becomes route 42. Take the exit toward Eltville a. Rhein.-Nord/Eltville a. Rhein.-Martinsthal. This route takes about 35 minutes depending on traffic.

Parking
Drive to the street called "Freygäßchen" but do not enter here! You will see a big parking lot directly connected to this street but do not park here! Take the next street (about 100m further) on the right (if you are coming from the center of Eltville) to park
Public Transportation Information
Deutsche Bahn (DB) trains depart on Friday, 18 August from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) at the following times:
Departure 14:53 from track 23 - Arrival 15:47
Departure 15:23 from track 22 - Arrival 16:17
Departure 15:53 from track 24 - Arrival 16:47
Departure 16:22 from track 24 - Arrival 17:17
If you take a later train, you will probably be late ;-)
Watch out: German trains are often NOT punctual, so check if your train is delayed!
Walking from the train station
Walk down the Bahnhofstraße toward Hotel Frankenbach. Keep going until you reach the Rheingauerstraße. Turn left onto the Rheingauerstraße. Walk past the Freygäßchen until you see a sign for Burg Crass. Turn right onto the dirt road. Look for signs. This walk takes less than 10 minutes. If you are in the river, you've walked too far.

The weather in Eltville in August will probably be very warm! We would like everyone to be comfortable, so we ask that you dress "summer party formal." And consider bringing something warmer in case it cools off at night.

1. Next year we are planning to buy a car to see more of Germany and be able to visit friends and family more easily. A gift in the spirit of our car-buying plans are appreciated!
2. Sometime in the end of this year we will go on our honeymoon to Asia. Gifts related to this occasion are welcome!
